How this prop is made for my cosplay. Other than the wooden stock (made of balsa), everything is made out of scavenged and recycled junk including cardboard tubes from Spotlight - these are from the rolls of textiles.

1. Chips and can.

2. Give it the 'ol chop-chop. Then put it back together in a different way. There are plastic discs between each section so they can be glued together

3.. Wooden part. The pieces I got were actually too small, so you can see where separate pieces have been joined.

4. Joints in the stock were smoothed with light clay, more bits cobbled together to make the laser.

5. Painted and wire attached.

6. Other side. Arrow is pointing to little lever used for reloading.
